BABY GIFT BAG AND CARD

Hello my crafty friends,

Hope everyone is having a great week.  The weather has been so so cold, can't wait for Spring to come. On the other hand I have been getting a lot of crafting done, and that's good.

My project is a Baby card and matching gift bag for a friend of mine's new grandaughter.  I really like how it turned out.  I saw something similar on pintest so I thought I would try my version of it. And it so happens Mary is having a challenge at Cardz TV for a Baby project so it worked out just right.

The card is an A2 size pink card base with a white mat and a second white mat that I ran through the Swiss Dots cuttlebug embossing folder, (love this folder). I cut out a scallop oval and plain oval from Spellbinders dies and added pearls around it. The booties were cut from the Winter Frolic cartridge which are actually a Christmas stocking. I cut the tops shorter so it would look like a babies bootie. I edged the cuff with an EK Success punch and put diamond glitter on the cuff and toe and heels.  The label was cut from a Spellbinders die and the stamp Sweet Baby is a Fiskars stamp.  I also added some washi tape to the top and bottom of the mats.

Hope you like my project. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

LIFE'S A BEACH CARD

Hello my sweet crafty friends,

I am so ready for Summer as you can tell by my card, and so sick of all the snow we got lately and with the cold weather I don't think its leaving anytime soon.
My card today is for a challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. The challenge is to make a card using any charm in any of the cartridges.  I decided to use Life's A Beach cartridge.  Come join the fun at BBTB2,

My card measures 5"x5" White card base.
Blue Mat is 4.25"x4.25"
I cut a piece of craft paper 5" wide and 2.75" high and ripped the top to look like sand.  I inked the edges w/ Tea Dye Distress Ink
The Palm Trees on page 40 were cut at 4.75". I cut two different shades of green, and brushed some Wink of Stella on them to give some texture.
The stamp is from one of the Peachy Keen Stamp of the Month sets. The charms are on page 62 and 63. I cut them twice, once in craft paper and once in red and pink for the swimming trunks and bikini.

WHITE ON WHITE BUTTERFLY CARD

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here is another White on White card I did with another Darcie Folder.  This folder is called Butterflies in corner.

It a A2 size card in White Texture card stock.  I embossed the mat with the folder twice. One I cut out the Butterflies since I don't have a butterfly punch and glued them on each butterfly. I added the pearls and the ribbon and that was it.  Easy pease and very quick.

I'm going to enter this card into the Cardz TV Card Designers Challenge #3 "Ribbon".  Come join us at Cardz TV and have some fun with the Challenge.

Thanks everyone for stopping by and leaving comments!

BABY CARD AND GIFT BAG

Hello my crafty friends,

Hope everyone is having a great week.  We have had so much snow here in New York, can't wait til Spring comes.  The storm from yesterday was real bad because it all turned to ice.  Well enough about the weather.

My project is a Baby card and matching gift bag for a friend of mine's new grandaughter.  I really like how it turned out.  I saw something similar on pintest so I thought I would try my version of it.
The card is an A2 size pink card base with a white mat and a second white mat that I ran through the Swiss Dots cuttlebug embossing folder, (love this folder). I edged the cuff with an EK Success punch and put diamond glitter on the cuff and toe and heels.  The label was cut from a Spellbinders die and the stamp Sweet Baby is a Fiskars stamp.  I also added some washi tape to the top and bottom of the mats.

CARD DESIGNERS CHALLENGE #2 HEARTS

Welcome to my blog everyone,

Today I made a card for the Cardz TV Card Designers Challenge #2 Hearts. The challenge is to make a card with hearts on it.  I decided to make this card for my hubby and also enter it into the Challenge. You ought to go over to Cardz TV and join in the fun.  Mary has some nice prizes she is giving away.

Papers  are all from Co-ordination except the black dotted one. Sorry I had that in my stash and can't remember where its from.

It's a A2 sz. card. Red mat is 4 x 5.25 and White mat is 3.75 x 4.75. The black dot paper is 1.75 x 3.75"

I embossed the white mat with the hearts cuttlebug folder. I cut the big heart from the Doodlecharms cartridge and it was cut at 2.25" and also cut the shadow. I heat embossed the word Love with silver embossing powder from Martha Stewart. Love is a stamp from Peachy Keen Stamps. The ribbon is from Michaels.

In side the card I added another red and white mat and put two smaller hearts on the bottom right corner.

Hope you like my card and thanks for leaving a comment.
