Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my blog.  Well Easter is almost upon us and I made these gift bags and cards for my grandchildren.  I still have two more to make.

EASTER BLESSINGS CARD

Hi Everyone, Welcome to my blog.

I made this card for my daughter-in-law for Easter. I think it came out so pretty. I got my inspiration on Pintrest.  I am entering this card in the Cardz TV Easter Challenge.

It's a A2 sz. card in Pink cardstock.
White mat was embossed with Stampin Up's embossing folder called Framed Tulips. Also cut an oval in the center with Spellbinders Oval Dies.
The pattern paper is from Recollections. The ribbon was in my stash. I just formed a basket weave pattern with the ribbon onto the pattern paper and glued it under the white mat.
The ovals for the sentiment were cut with Art Philosophy Cartridge.
The flowers were a punch from EK Success and the leaves were a MS punch.
Pearls are Recollections from Michaels

Hope you like my card and thank you for all the nice comments.

BUNNY FACE SHAPE CARD

Hello Everyone,

Hope everyone is having a good day.

The size of the card is 5.25" and its a hexagon shape from Winter Woodlands. I used the hide contour to hide the snowflake cut, then welded the two shapes together on my gypsy. The green hexagon is cut at 4.50" also from the same cartridge and I ran it through the cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder. The bunny was cut at 3.50" from Doodlecharms and flocked with MS Flocking Powder and I stickled around the edge of him. The pink flower and flower buttons are from my stash. The sentiment is a stamp from Stampin Up. Polka Dot paper is from DCWV Dots,Stripes and Plaids Pack.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving such nice comments. I really enjoy reading them.

BIRD CAGE CARD

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are enjoying your weekend. For a change we have sun here all weekend even though it's pretty cold.  At least when you look out it looks beautiful.

My card today is a scene card. It's a A2 size card. The mat is some cloud pattern paper I had in my stash. The tree is an Darice Embossing folder that I colored with my copics. After I colored it I decided I wanted it to pop up so I fussy cut it and used foam tape on the back. I cut the bird cage from the April Showers cartridge. It's hung with Twine from the Twinery.  The grass is cut from Plantin Schoolbook Cart. The white fence is a Martha Stewart Punch.

Diana Larson at DL.Art is having a Anything Goes Challenge on her blog which I'm going to enter this card into. Come on over an join in the fun.

Hope you like my card and thank you for all the nice comments you leave.

Have a great weekend!

Hi Everyone,

Glad you stopped by my blog. Today I have a St. Patrick's Day Card for you. I am going to enter this card in the Shamrock Challenge over at Bitten By The Bug. Come join the fun.

Base card is Green from Bazzill 5.50" x 5.50"
Beige Mat is from Recollections 3.25" x 5.25"

The boy is a PK stamp from one of the stamp of the month club. I colored him with copics and added stickles to his shoes, buckle on his hat and the glass of beer. I used bakers twine for his bow tie and also wrapped some on the tan mat with a button. I put him on an action wobble. The sentiment mat was cut from Elegant Edges and the stamp is from PK stamps. I made the shamrocks from hearts and added stickles for the stems. I cut the hearts from Walk In My Garden.

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!!!

WATERCOLOR SPRING CARD

Hi Everyone, welcome to my blog.

Hope everyone is getting ready for Spring now that the snow seems to have subsided.  Only a few more days and Spring will be here. Can't wait.

For the first time in my life I'm trying to learn how to sketch a picture.  I could paint, but for some reason I can't draw. I went on You Tube and put sketching in the search and found Lindsey the Frugal Crafter. She was doing a sketch from a picture and this was part of the picture. I decided to try it and I  kind of like it.  I got myself an Artist Pen and went to work. I think it came out pretty good for my first time.

After I sketched the picture on watercolor paper, I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to color it. Watercolor seems to be the rage now and I wanted to try it.  I added some Wink of Stella to the flowers and some rhinestones. Added the sentiment and the card was done.

I am entering this card in the following Challenges:

Thanks for stoping by and leaving a comment. I really enjoy reading them.

Happy Spring!
