CHRISTMAS TAGS

Hello Everyone, 

It's been a long time since I posted anything on my blog.  I have been so busy since the summer that I hardly had time to do any crafting.  I did however scraplift some tags for my family and friends for Christmas. I would like to thank Cathy over at Mimi's Craft Corner for her cute idea for these tags.  I think they turned out so cute.  

Hope everyone had a a very Merry Christmas. Happy New Year to all of you. Can't believe 2014 is almost gone already.  

My tags were cut at 4.75" from the Tags, Boxes & More Cartridge.

I sponged the top of the tag with Distress Ink Faded Denim and Fire Brick Red to make it look like the hats. 

I stamped Peachy Keen Snowmen faces and colored the cheeks with Red Chalk. 

I used twine from the Twinery in Blk/White and Maricino and added Green sprigs that I punched out with the Martha Stewart Punch. Added some tiny rhinestones for some glitz on the hat.

PKS 14-07 SKETCH CHALLENGE

Hi Everyone,

The weekend is here at last, and the weather seems to be getting warmer (thank goodness). I can't wait for summer so I thought I would make a card for summer and I'm entering this into the PKS Sketch Challenge.

My card is a White card base 4.25"x 5.50", a navy blue mat 4" x 5.25" and another white mat 3.75" x 5". I ran the white mat through the Swiss Dots folder in my Cuttlebug.  The four panels are navy blue with a yellow mat with the Swiss Dots.

I used the Peachy Keen Stamp of the Month PKSC-18 from June 2013.

I had fun making this card and thinking of all the summer fun. Thanks for all your nice comments, I enjoy reading them.

CARDZ TV CHALLENGE #6 SPRING

Hello Everyone,

Happy Spring, if it ever gets here. This has been some weather we are having. I can't take anymore of it. I'm really ready for Summer.

 I made this card for the Cardz TV Challenge #6 Spring.

My card is 4.25 x 5.50" white base card. The gingham green mat is 4" x 5.25" and is from Recollections, and the yellow mat is 3.75" x 5". I embossed the yellow mat with the Stampin Up Tulip Frame folder. I love this embossing folder. The cow and flower pot is from KaDoodles. This was a freebie. I don't have a Silhouette but I printed it out and cut all the pieces out. It took some time but I think it came out pretty cute. I shaded some of it with my copics. I added buttons and gem stones to the flowers. I actually like how it came out.  My sentiment is from one of the Peachy Keen SOTM club sets from 2013. I cut the banner from the Art Philosophy Cart. Also added some stickles to give it a little sparkle.

CARDZTV 3-D CHALLENGE #5 EASTER

Mary over at CardzTV is having a 3-D Challenge for Easter. Why don't you hop on over and join in the fun.
This is my take for the Challenge.

I made 15 of these Tubes with Jelly Beans for my Bowling League Ladies for Easter. Just wanted to give them a little something for Easter.

I bought these tubes in AC Moore for $1.00, great deal.  I made the bunnies (thanks to Mary) from different size ovals on my cricut. I used George and Basic Shapes and cut ovals in 2" for face, 6 ovals at 1-1/2" for feet, ears and body and 4 ovals in pattern paper at 1-1/4" for the feet pads and inside the ears, then added a purple bow to the bunnies head. The face is stamped with Peachy Keen Critter Stamp Asst. set. Love this little face.  Added chalk for the cheeks, Filled the tube w/jelly beans and added a Pink & White dotted bow. I love making these little bunnies.

I hope the ladies like them. I'm sure they will enjoy the Jelly Beans.

PEACHY KEEN SKETCH CHALLENGE

Hello My Crafty Friends,

There is a Sketch Challenge going on over at Peachy Keen this week. Why don't you hop on over and join in the fun.  This is my take on the challenge.

My card is an A2 sz. card. The card base is white and the mat is purple. Both are from Bazzill card stock.
The purple check pattern paper and the tiny flower pattern paper are Recollection paper from Michaels. The paper on the bottom is from DCWV. This reminds me of chicken wire.

I added a scallop border from EK Success. The oval is a scallop oval die from Spellbinders. The chick is a stamp from PK Stamps.  Just love these stamps. I paper pieced the chicks head and wing with some of the pattern paper.  Love the sentiment "What's Up Chickie".

CARDZ TV CHALLENGE #3 NEW BABY

Hello Everyone,

Todays card is a Baby Card I made for a baby shower I'm going to the end of April. I'm also entering it at Cardz TV Baby Card Challenge.

My card is an A2 sz. 4.25 x 5.50" card in White. The yellow mat measures 4"x5.25" and it's from Bazzill. The pattern paper (so cute) is from Joann's and measures 3.75"x5". I think the pattern paper is perfect for this stamp set.  The stamps I used are from Peachy Keen. Just love this set. I colored the cow and moon with my copics.  I added the navy ribbon from American Crafts, and tiny yellow buttons from Joann's.  I love how it came out.

Todays card is a Starburst  card. I got this inspiration from you tube. It was so easy to make the Starburst, and I really like how it turned out.

My card is an A2 sz. with a black mat and dark green mat. Card stock is from Co-ordinations.
My Starburst papers are from Studio G paper pack I got at Michaels. All the papers cor-ordinate and I really like that. The face and shamrock is from Peachy Keen Stamps STOMC from last March. The hat is from Create A Critter 2 and cut with my Cricut.  I added some Bakers Twine and the sentiment is from my computer.

CARDZ TV CHALLENGE - BIRTHDAY CARD

Sorry I haven't been posting for so long, I guess life just gets in the way. I have been crafting a bit, but just haven't been posting.  I made this card for my friend for her birthday.  I hope she likes it.  I'm also entering  this in the Cardz TV Challenge. The challenge is to make a birthday card, so it came at the right time.

My Card is an A2 size White Card Base. The Black dot paper is from a paper pad called Glitter Card Paper by Pooch & Sweetheart. I have had this pad a long time. The black and white card stock is from Colorbok and I embossed the white with the Swiss Dots folder. The scallop edge is my EKSuccess punch called Scallop Scallop.  The flowers are also a EK Success punch and I just added stickles to them to give it some bling.  The leaves are a MS Punch and I also added stickles.  The sentiment is a stamp from Stampin Up.  Added black lines w/ my gel pen to give it some demention.

MOTHER'S DAY CARD

Happy Friday everyone,

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Here in NY it is suppose to rain tomorrow. I know we need the rain but, I really don't want it on the weekend. They say Sun. is suppose to be beautiful for Mother's Day, I hope so. 

This is the Mother's Day card I made for my daughter-in-law. I'm entering it in "There's No Other Like My Mother CTV Challenge #29. Your can make a card, project or anything you want as long as its for Mother's Day. Come join us it's a lot of fun.

My card was inspired from You Tube this time. I was looking for something different and I came across a Center Stair Step Card.  I got all the measurements from a video from Jeanette at  Happy Thoughts & Ink Spots blog. Thanks Jeanette for the inspiration. It's pretty simple to make.

The base card is White and the dark aqua mats were colored on my Cricut Imagine since I didn't have the right color to match my pattern paper. The pattern paper is Recolections from Michaels. My center focal point is a digi stamp I have and I colored it with my copic markers. The die cut is from Spellbinders and I think it's called Lace Doiley. I cut my sentiment mat from the Art Philosophy Cart. The stamp is from MCT stamp set.  The pearls are from Martha Stewart.

PEACHY KEEN CHALLENGE - ANYTHING GOES

Hello My Crafty Friends,

It's time for another challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps. This weeks challenge is Anything Goes, which means make a card, project or scrapbook page with any color you wish but you do need to use a Peachy Keen Stamp. 

I made this card for my girlfriends birthday and since I used the duck from the April Stamp of the Month Set I thought I would enter it in the challenge.


My card is an A2 size in Tangerine which I colored with my Cricut Imagine since I didn't have that color card stock on hand. I really like the way it came out.
The pattern papers are from DCWV Citrus Stack and matted with black card stock.
I stamped the chick and flower from the April Stamp of the Month Set and colored them with my copics. I added some stickles on the flower to jazz it up.
The umbrella was cut from the April Showers Cart. at 2" and I also added dots on the umbrealls with stickles.  The sentiment was from another PK stamp of the month set.

MIX IT UP CARDZ TV CHALLENGE #27

Hope you enjoyed your weekend so far. I am so ready for Spring, it can't come fast enough. Today was a beautiful day but still a little too cool.

I made this card for my friends birthday, but I'm also going to enter it into the Cardz TV Challenge over at Mary's. The challenge is to use 3 different pattern papers in your project.


Reciepe:

Base Card A2 sz. I used my Cricut Imagin to color the card stock since I didn't have anything close.
Pattern papers were from DCWV Citrus Stack. cut at 1 7/8 x 2 38 " and the black mats are 2 x 2.5"
I stamped my focal point with the PK April Stamp of the month Kit and colored it with my copics. I cut the umbrella from the April Showers Cart. at 2". I used my clear Glitter Gel Pen to put dots on the umbrella and down the handle to give it some sparkle. I also did some on the flower. The sentiment is also a PK stamp from one of the other months (sorry I don't remember which one). I pop dotted the focal image also for some demension.

This card I also scraplifted from Mary at Cardz TV. Thanks Mary for the inspiration.  My grandaughter is going to love this. I thought it was so cute.  This egg was cut from the Art Philosophy Cart. and the chick and egg were cut from Create A Critter cart.  The bling is from Michaels. The sentiment is a stamp from Stampin Up.

This card I have to say I scraplifted from Janice (Stampin w/Janice). Thanks Janice for the inspiration. I think this card is so so cute. Janice did her's in Blue but I did mine in pink because my grandaughter loves pink. These eggs are also from the PK March Stamp of the Month. The clouds were cut from the April Showers cart. and I have them on pop dots along with the eggs. The fence is MS Punch and the green grass is from Plantin Schoolbook Cart.

This is also an A2 size. Blue pattern paper is from Recollections, the green dot paper is from DCWV Nana's Paper stack and the green and blue paper was paper I had in my stash, can't remember where I got it sorry.  Some parts of the bunny was punched out and some were cut using the cricut. I rounded the corners with my corner rounder.

This is an A2 size card. Card base and purple mat  is from Bazzill. Cloud mat is a stamp from Peachy Keen. The eggs were cut from the Doodlecharms cart. I glittered four of them and put a PK stamp face on the other two. Grass was cut from Plantin Schoolbook Cart. I added American Craft ribbon and the sentiment stamp is also from Peachy Keen. 

FIRST EASTER CARD

Hope you all had a nice weekend. I have been busy making some Easter Cards for my grandchildren.

Here is the first one I made for my grandson. I used the bunny from the PK March Stamp of the month club. I paper pieced it with pattern paper from Recolections. The sun and grass  is cut from Creator A Critter. My base card is cut from Birthday Bash. The white mat in back of the bunny are clouds I embossed with clear embossing powder and I outlined them with a clear glitter pen. It's hard to see in the picture. The fence is a MS Punch.

BIRTHDAY CARD

Hello Everyone, happy Thursday.

I made this card for a friend of mine for her Birthday. I have so many birthdays in February, I can't keep up with it. 

The card base was cut from the Birthday Bash Cartridge. The flowers and leaves were cut from the Forever Young Cartridge. I layered them all together and put a pearl in the center. Added some ribbon from my stash and the stamp is from Stampin Up. I cut a circle of the pattern paper for the inside and also a white circle for my sentiment.

CARDZ TV CHALLENGE#23 "COLOR CHALLENGE"

Happy Saturday Everyone,

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have fun plans for the weekend.  These weeks really fly by so fast.

For my card today, I made this for one of my grandsons and I'm also entering it into the Cardz TV Color Challenge. The challenge is to make anything you want but with only the colors Red, Black and White.


My card is an A2 size card with a red mat at 4x5.25" and a white mat at 3.75x5" embossed with the Cuddlebug Hearts folder. I cut a black strip and a red dot pp strip and adhered them together across the bottom.  The sentiment is a tag cut at 2" from the Art Philosophy Cart. and the stamp is from Peachy Keen Jan. Stamp of the month club. I colored the little heart with my red copic marker. The big heart is cut at 2" and the red scalloped heart is cut at 2.25" both from the Doodlecharms Cart. I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen stamp (love that face) and put it on an Action Wobble.  I didn't have enough black buttons, so I used some black pearls that I had.

"A BANNER YEAR' CHALLENGE #123

My card for this challenge is a Valentine Card with a Teddy Bear on it. I made it for my youngest Grandson.

Cream card base is 4.25 x 5.50" from Recolections
Red mat is 4x5.25" also from Recolections
Yellow Dot PP is from DCWV 1.50 x 5.1/8"
Banner was cut from the Birthday Bash Cart. at 1" and inside pc. at 3/4"
Bear was cut from Create-A-Critter 2 at 2.25" and I put it on an Action Wobble.
Tiny Tag is a die from MCT. I also used Bakers Twin and Ribbon from Michaels.

"BABY NEW YEAR" CHALLENGE #22

I'm entering my card today in the "Baby New Year" Challenge over at Cardz TV Blog. Won't you come and join us, it's fun.

Base Tag Card is 5.5" cut from Art Philosophy Cart. The gingham PP is 4.5x4.5" (sorry I don't know where I got this paper). Pink & White tag is Label 14 die from Spellbinders. I added some bakers twin for the clothes line and the outfits are stickers from K&Co. I used my MS Ribbon Punch and added some Pink ribbon.
